Starcross and Cockwood Tidal Defence Scheme
The Environment Agency is working towards delivering a tidal defence scheme for Starcross and Cockwood in order to reduce flood risk.
The project was identified as one of the priority schemes detailed in the Exe Estuary Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy (EEFCRMS). The proposed scheme is estimated to reduce flood risk to over 600 residential and commercial properties.
You are invited to attend a public exhibition on 11th April 2017 in Starcross Pavilion, where you will be able to view and discuss the designs for the scheme. The exhibition will run from 12 noon - 7.30pm. Further details can be found here.
